Start your Monash journey the right way.

O-Fest is the epicentre of orientation week at Clayton campus. Brought to you by the Monash Student Association (MSA), O–Fest is the perfect way to kick-start your semester.
Join us on Lemon Scented Lawns daily between the 25-28 of February and meet over 140 clubs and societies. You'll also get the chance to meet your MSA student reps for 2019.
Live music performances, roaming entertainers, tons of free food, drinks and other goodies! What more could you ask for?

Get a Wristband.

Want to grab a drink at the festival? Please make sure to bring your ID along! MSA practice responsible service of alcohol. You must be 18+ and have an O–Fest wristband to be served.
To grab a wristband please show your ID / Passport at the Festival Information tent. You won’t be served without a wristband. Please note that security will be present throughout the festival.

What’s the Monash Student Association?

The Monash Student Association (MSA) is the student-led body at Monash, representing and supporting all students. MSA runs events, clubs, welfare programs, food services, volunteering, and heaps more. Make sure to check out who we are and what we do over at msa.monash.edu

How long does O-Fest run for?

11am - 3pm, 25 - 28 February.

Are there any rules at the festival?

O-Fest is a safe, fun and inclusive event. Inappropriate behaviour, bullying or harassment will not be tolerated. Security and event staff will be present throughout the event at all times.

If you feel unsafe or wish to report an incident, please approach a member of the team, or go to the Festival Information Tent.

Nope, it’s completely free!

What should I bring with me?

Everything at the festival is completely free, so no need to bring money, but do have your ID or passport on you if you’re planning to drink alcohol. You must be 18+ and have an O–Fest wristband to be served.

How do I get a drinks wristband?

If you want to drink alcohol at the festival you'll need to get an O–Fest wristband. To pick yours up just show your ID / Passport at the Festival Information tent to receive a wristband. You must be 18+.

Will there be food?

So. Much. Food. We’ll have several large BBQs going every day of the festival and clubs will be serving snacks and drinks as well.

Have no fear! Our Campus Tours will demystify Clayton once and for all. Get down to the festival info tent during O–Fest to jump on a tour leaving every 20 minutes.

Will there be photography at O–Fest?

Monash Student Association (MSA) likes to promote its events to the Monash community and the public via its website, emails and social media. During the course of this event, photographs and video footage may be taken.

MSA may use, reproduce, publish, or broadcast this content for promotional purposes. By entering this event, you consent to MSA's use of the content in this way. Parent and guardians also consent to the use of the content on behalf of their child.
